Worthing Model Engineers Donate £1,450 to Worthing Mencap

The Worthing & District Society of Model Engineers has donated £1,450 to Worthing Mencap, raised during their charity day in September. The presentation took place at the society’s clubhouse at Field Place.

The donation reflects proceeds collected during the society’s charity day in September. The Worthing Mencap team attended the event to receive the cheque in recognition of the funds raised.

The society, which operates an elevated triple-gauge railway track, has been a long-standing part of the Worthing community. They offer train rides to the public twice a month from April to October, providing a family-friendly experience while supporting local causes.
