Worthing school secures future with full site purchase

Our Lady of Sion School in Worthing has purchased its entire site, securing its long-term future and allowing greater investment in education. The acquisition covers the senior, junior and nursery school buildings.

The purchase was made possible through a substantial discount provided by the Sisters of Our Lady of Sion, the school’s founding order. Governors said the agreement strengthens the school’s financial resilience and will reduce long-term costs compared with projected rental fees.

School leaders described the move as a historic moment, highlighting continued academic success and the support of families, staff and the wider community. They said the decision enables further investment in facilities and enhances the school’s ability to plan for future generations.
