A Worthing man has been sentenced to four years in prison for possession of indecent images of children.
Welcome to Radio Worthing.
Sadly, Radio Worthing has been unsuccessful in our bid to launch a new local digital radio service for Worthing.
Ofcom have decided, once again, that Worthing shouldn’t have a say in our own town and that a commercial entity owned by millionaires based outside of our town should be the gatekeepers of our airwaves - as such this closes any viable opportunity for us to broadcast to our town through this method.
We appreciate this is disappointing for you, our supporters, as much as it is for us. However, there are a number of other avenues available to us and we are examining the feasibility of alternative distributions on both analogue and digital platforms. We’ll offer an update in due course.
Thanks once again for the volumes of support and messages and we hope we can update you very soon with more positive news. In the meantime we’ll keep updating this site as a resource for our town.
